This is what happens when the government must continue to borrow and spend to finance the military.

Simmons Says Government Should Take Over BP Oil Clean Up: Video
May 28 (Bloomberg) — Matt Simmons, founder and chairman emeritus of Simmons & Co., talks with Bloomberg’s Mark Crumpton and Lori Rothman about BP Plc’s leaking oil well in the Gulf of Mexico.
BP said in a statement today that it has spent $930 million responding to the spill, which began after an April 20 rig explosion that killed 11 workers. The well has been spewing an estimated 12,000 to 19,000 barrels of oil a day into the Gulf, a U.S. government panel said yesterday. (Source: Bloomberg)

Jennifer Lopez has given birth to twins in a New York, according to reports.

Murderer gets life sentence
A Victoria man convicted in the shooting and beating death of a former friend whose body was found in Esquimalt in 2003 was handed a life sentence today.
A judge ruled that Daniel Aitken must serve at least 18 years of his sentence before he is eligible for parole.
Alexander Mclean’s body was found in McAuley Point Park in October 2003.
He had been beaten and shot “execution style” twice in the back of the head.
His father, Gabe Mclean told reporters today that he must have known he was going to be killed as his captures lead him at gunpoint to the Esquimalt park.
McLeans killer is Daniel Aitken, a former friend.
Prosecutors say Aitken lived a life of crime including drug dealing and robbery. At the age of 19 he was convicted of manslaughter of a notorious Victoria drug dealer and pimp.
Aitken is currently serving a life sentence for the murder of Adan Morino who was shot outside his downtown Victoria apartment in December 2005
Aitken is also convicted of the break and enter at Victoria’s vital statistics Office. Among the items stolen; BC birth certificates.
The Greater Victoria Emergency Response Team arrested Aitken when they raided his apartment in July 2006.
Evidence presented in court showed police had Aitken under surveillance for some time including wire taps at his home.
But because the murder of Morino and the break-in at Vital Statistics occurred after Aitkens latest murder conviction, the court could not consider those crimes when sentencing Aitken for the murder of Mclean.

We at Americas Wrongfully Convicted are wanting fair and impartial judges presiding over our courts.
What happened to Robert McClendon (A disabled man) in Harris county, Texas was not right at all. Christine and Paula Trent told over 150 discrepancies in their testimony and they could not even keep their stories straight.
What makes it bad is that the officer that was ordered by the DA’s office to bring him in testified in Robert’s behalf because he did not believe what the two ladies were telling him at the scene.
This is one of the most screwed up cases of injustice that you will ever read about or at least you will think so after looking at all of the evidence that is on states documents.
